New Bridge Mill has great potential for micro hydro - a good flow (Qmean = 500 litres/second) and also a reasonable head (6-8 metres). There is the potential for 2 schemes (one using the reservoir and one the goit downstream - the output from the reservoir is upstream of the intake for the goit). However - certainly in the frst instance only one scheme is being considered by the owners.
