Gibson Mill
Gibson Mill is an off grid system - and one of the lowest impact properties in the National Trust portfolio. The energy for the mill - the cafe, mill building and caretaker's house is provided by an off grid battery system powered by micro hydro and PV. Heating is via coppiced wood from the estate and hot water from the solar thermal panels.
