Hydropower display at the ATC
Power from the Landscape is pleased to announce the launch of our new hydro power display at the Alternative Technology Centre in Hebden Bridge. The display consists of working scale models of 4 different hydropower technologies:
Hydrodyanamic screw (also known as an Archimedes screw)
Propeller
Crossflow
Pelton
These scale models are linked to voltemeters and have adjustable flow controls to show the drop in performance as the water flow is decreased.
