FITs and grants - State Aid rules and regulations

I've had a few enquiries recently about the effect of getting grants on FITs; The EU commission recently ruled that FITs are state aid, which therefore suggests that a project will not be able to receive government grants and get the feed in tariff - although no official announcement has yet been made. The latest info on the DECC website is effectively: Watch this space.
